Notice of Public Meetings - FY25 Proposed Budget of Bryan County Schools:
A public meeting will be held for the purpose of soliciting input on the proposed FY 2025 Budget of the Bryan County Board of Education.Â
 All concerned citizens are invited to the public meeting on the proposed FY 2025 Budget to be held at the Bryan County School District Central Office, 8810 US Hwy 280, Black Creek, GA on June 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM. A second public meeting will be held at the same location on June 17, 2024, at 9:00 AM.Â
 The budget will be considered for final adoption by the Bryan County Board of Education on June 27, 2024, at 6:15 PM. The meeting will be held at the Bryan County School District Central Office, 8810 US Hwy 280, Black Creek, GA.

Joanna Yian Xiao, RHHS Valedictorian, has been named a U.S. Presidential Scholar. This prestigious program recognizes students for their exceptional academic achievements. Joanna is one of four students in Georgia, and one of 161 students nationwide to receive this honor in 2024. The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is one of the highest honors bestowed upon high school students in the United States. Congratulations, Joanna on this outstanding accomplishment!


Congratulations to Dr. Brittney Mobley, Principal of Frances Meeks Elementary School. Dr. Mobley was named the Georgia Association of Elementary School Principals’ (GAESP) 2024 National Distinguished Principal for Georgia. Dr. Mobley was awarded a check for $1,500 and will be honored during the 2024 National Distinguished Principal event in Washington, D.C. in October.

Bryan County Middle High School and Richmond Hill High School participated in Georgia’s Future Educators Signing Day, a statewide initiative sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education, on May 7, 2024. The event celebrated 12 graduating seniors from the class of 2024 who have made the decision to pursue a career in education. Congratulations to these twelve students who are not only choosing a career but also embracing a calling.

Good luck to our Redskins and Wildcat Athletes that will be competing in State Playoffs today.
Bryan County Middle High School Redskins Girls Soccer will be playing the Lamar County Trojans in Round 2 of the state playoffs @ Lamar County Comprehensive High School today at 5:30pm.
Richmond Hill High School Boy’s Lacrosse team will be playing a double header against Greater Atlanta Christian in Round 1 of the state playoffs @ Greater Atlanta Christian School today at 6:00 pm.
Meanwhile at home, our Redskins Baseball Team will be playing a double header in Round 1 of the state playoffs and the Lady Wildcats Soccer Team will be playing in Round 2 of the state Playoffs. Come out and support your Redskins and Wildcats teams!



Congratulations to Coach Hill Thomas - RHHS Baseball Coach. He earned the 23-24 Award of Excellence from the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSA).

The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is a residential summer program where students participate in an educational experience on a college or university campus. Students attend classes in the mornings and afternoons in specific areas of study and participate in a wide variety of social and instructional opportunities every evening. Meals and room costs are covered by the program.
Over 4200 students applied for the program and nearly 1200 participated in this year’s state interview/audition process.
Bryan County Schools is proud to announce three Richmond Hill High School students were selected as finalists and will participate in the GHP program this summer at Georgia Southern University.


Bryan County Schools is hosting a Special Needs Resource Fair Saturday, March 23, 2024 at McAllister Elementary School.
