A group of Richmond Hill Middle School's band students participated in the GMEA District One Honor Band. To be considered for this event students went through a rigorous audition process with almost 600 other middle school band students. The District Honor Band is made up of the top 100 students in the entire South East District. The band practiced for a total of 9 hours before they put on a performance for their parents, friends, and community members. Congratulations to all of our students who earned one of these elite spots! Six of our students scored high enough to go on to the second round of auditions for All-State Band.
