🚗✨ Hyundai & Genesis Visit BCMS! ✨🚗 This past week, Bryan County Middle School students took on the Upcycled Vehicle Engineering Challenge, sponsored by Hyundai Motor North America & Genesis Motor North America! Guided by AVID Teacher Mr. Hill & Engineering Teacher Mrs. Adams, students designed innovative vehicle prototypes using recyclable materials—applying WICOR strategies like communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills. From electric four-wheelers to rockets, their creativity was on full display! They even got to explore the latest Hyundai Genesis electric model, connecting their designs to real-world automotive tech. It's almost Pageant Day! Get ready for an exciting celebration of talent, beauty, and community at the Miss BCHS pageant. Here are a few things to remember: Pageant Schedule: Saturday, March 1, 2025 • Baby Divisions: 11:30 AM • BCES Divisions: 1:30 PM • Miss BCMS/BCHS Divisions: 6:00 PM Doors Open to the Public: • Baby/Tiny/Toddler & BCES Divisions: 11:00 AM • Miss BCMS/BCHS Divisions: 5:30 PM Tickets: • $7 per event or $10 for a day pass (grants entry to both pageants-must be purchased via GoFan or card) Important: Each contestant may have one designated person to assist with preparations (this individual will receive a bracelet for access). For a secure, organized dressing area, no additional entries will be permitted. Don't Forget to Vote! Cast your ballot for the People’s Choice Award on Pageant Day! Awarded in all age groups, this honor is determined by audience votes—with each vote costing $1. Payment can be made via check, cash, or card. The contestant with the most votes in each division will receive this prestigious recognition. Visit the People’s Choice table near the concession stand to cast your vote.
