Almost 26,000 meals were packed at BCES and delivered to students today. A team of lunchroom, transportation, custodians, maintenance workers, administrators, and central office staff all worked together to make it happen. Meals will be delivered once a week on thursdays. Students will receive food for the whole week.

BCES is giving away two bikes to students who complete their online learning. Teachers will turn in a list of names at the end of the year of students that are completing their online assignments and the winners will be drawn from this list.

As a result of the governor’s new orders, the parade has been postponed.
We have established a centralized location where BCS technology devices will be issued and replaced by appointment. The tech depot will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9:00am & 1:00pm.

The mobile food pantry is coming to Pembroke March 26.
BCES is the host site for the Meals on the Bus program. They prepared 3000 meals today and delivered them to families. We want to say a big thanks to the lunch staff, bus drivers, county office staff, and administrators for all your hard work. To learn more about the program visit the county website for details.

Chromebooks can be picked up at BCES Wed. from 8 am - 6pm, Thurs. 8-3, and Fri. 8-3. We encourage parents to come but if you can't make it then anyone on your child's "yellow card" can pick up the Chromebook and sign the contract. You will need your ID when you arrive.
The Character Chase 5K race and Community Day events that were scheduled for this Saturday have been postponed due to Corona virus concerns and school closures. We will notify everyone when they are rescheduled. Thank you for your patience and flexibility. Stay safe.
Governor Kemp has ordered all schools to close starting Wednesday March 18th. Bryan County schools will be closed from March 18th - April 10. During this time students will attend class online. Please read the attachment below with details about online learning.
